HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1498-1949RESOLUTIC~ NO. 1498 ~EREAS, each year, many persons in the State of California areinJured or lose their lives, in accidents on grade railroad crossings; and ~2~EA$ there is a lack of adequate legislation to provide for specific responsibility for grade crossing separations and financial responsibility for the construction of grade separations; RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that this city council recommence that a study of grade separation legislation be instituted by the safety committee of the Chamber of Commerce of the San Francisco Peninsula ant also by the various Chambers of Commerce of the San Francisco Peninsula, in an endeavour to promote appropriate legislation for separation of grades oI' railroaCs ant public highways.
