HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1501-1949RESOLUTI(N NO. 1501 RESOLVED ~hat there is a definite need for an allocation of state budget funds for San Mateo County, to .he used for the extension and correction of certain conditions on the Bayshore Freeway; and WHEREAS information has come from the State Highway Commission to the effect that, at the present no funds are available for that purpose; and ~EREAS the continued growth of population in cities along the San Mateo Peninsula has caused traffi. hazards to be increased, and appropriate action should be taken to have funds allocated to meet the existing emergency; THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco ~hat Senator Harry L. Parkman and Assemblyman Richard J. Dolwig be requested to make such effort as may be necessary to obtain funds the purpose hereinbefore mentioned. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Coun. of the City of South San Francisco this 5th day of December 19A9, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas.
