A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF CONTEMPIATED WITHDRAWAL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO FROM THE COUNTY ~ LIBRAR~ SYSTEM OF THE COUNTY OF
SAN MATE0.
RESOLVE~by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that maid city council
contemplates the withdrawal of said City of South San 'Francisco from the County ~ree Library
System of the County of San Mateo, State of California.~
The city clerk is hereby directed to publish once a week for two (2) successive weeks
prior to the 23rd day of January, 1950, in the South San Francisco Journal, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of South San Francisco, a notice in substantially the
following form:

FRANCISCO FROM THE COUNTY FREE LIBRARY SYSTEM OF THE COUNTY
OF SAN MATE0.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco contemplates
withdrawal of said city from the County Free Library System of the County of San Mateo, State of
California, and that said city council contemplates giving notice to the Board of Supervisors of the
County of San Mateo of the desire Of said city council to withdraw from said free library system.
Notice is further hereby given that, on Monday, the 23rd day of January, 1950, at the hour
of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the council chamber in the city hall of said city, in the City of South
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California~ 'sai'd city council will hold a meetZng at
which the contemplated action is proposed to be taken. At said meeting all objections to the with-
drawal of said city from said county free library system will be heard and considered. ~
