HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1526-1950RESOLUTION NO. 1526 A RESOLUTION A~fARDING THE CONTRA CT i'FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION AND ENLARGEMFJUT OF THE EXISTII?G PU¥~ING STATION, THE IN- STALLATIgN OF oE..A~E PU~S AND TE~ CONSTRUCTION OF PERTI- N~fT FACILITIES IN THE CITY O~ SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO. ~EREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 20th day of March, 1950, publicly open, examine and declare all bids or pro- posals submitted for the reconstruction and enlargement of existing sewage pumping station, the installation of sewage pumps and the const~ction of pertinent facilities in the City of South San Francisco;; R?~OLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council hereby rejects all said bids or porposals, except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for said work to the lop,est responsible bidder, to wit: C. Norman Peterson at the prices named in his bid, to-wit: Excavation ~3.13 per cubic yard; reinforced concrete $55.00 per cubic yard; alterations to p~mp house, including the furnishings and installation of ali e~ipment required as well as the bypassing of existing ~3ewage during construction and completion of alterations, the sum of $~2,700.00. The Mayor and the city clerk are hereby directed, in the name of said city and under its corporate seal, to execute the contract hereby awarded. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 3rd day of April, 1950, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Adolph Sani, Leo Ferko, Emilio Cortesi.
