A RESOLUTrON OR DERING RE fOVAL OF WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 1st day of May, 1950, adopt its resolution No. 153~, in which said city council determined that weeds, which will attain such a large growth as to become a fire menance when dry, were growing upon the streets of said city, end declaring that said wweds must be removed and that the cost and expense of such removal shall be assessed upon all lots of land in front of which such weeds exist and, in said resolution, fixed Monday, the 15th day of May, 1950, at the hour of 8 o'clock p. m., and the council chamber in the city hall of said city, as the time and place when and where all persons having any objections to the pre- posed removal of said weeds may appear before said city council and show cause why the work of the proposed removal of weeds should not be carried out; and, WHEREAS no person has protested or opposed the removal of said weeds; RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the superintendent of streets abate the nuisance caused by said weeds by having them removed. Said superintendent of streets is hereby directed to keep an account of the cost and ex- pense of abating the nuisance in front of ~&ch separate lot or parcel of land where the work of removing said weeds may be done, and render an itemized report in writing to the city council, showing the cost and e~pense of removing said weeds. Before such report is submitted to the city council, said superintendent of streets shall cause a copy thereof to be posted for not less than ten (10) days prior to the time when said report may be submitted to said city council, on or near the chamber door of said city council, to- gether with a notice of filing the same, and of the time and place when and where any per- sons interested in the work of removal of said weeds, will be heard by said city council. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 15th day of ~ay, 1950, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K.
