HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1548-1950R~OLUTION NO. 1548 COND~2~NATI ON RESOLUTION RESOLVED by the city council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council finds and determines and hereby declares that: Public interest and necessity require the construction of a public street or high- way upon the land next hereinafter described. R~OLVED further that said City of South San Francisco acquire the real property next hereinafter described by condemnation in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure and the Constitution of the State of California relating to eminent domain and prepare and prosecute in the name of the people of the State of California, such proceeding or proceed- ings in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of San Mateo, as are necessary for such acquisition; the land last hereinbefore referred to is all that certain tract or parcel of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point which is the most northerly corner of that certain two-acre parcel of land described in deed from South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a cor- poration, to Theodore Mulkey, by deed recorded January lT, 1939, Recorder's File No. 50656-D, Records of San Mateo County, California, running thence from said point of beginning south 26° 21' 12" East along the northeast line of said two-acre parcel 178.84 feet to the most easterly corner thereof, thence south 63° 38' 48" west along the southeasterly line of said two-acre par- cel 30 feet to a point, thence northerly 26° 21' 12" west and across said two acre parcel 178.7& feet to a point in the northwest line thereof, thence northerly 63° 38' 48" easterly along said last mentioned line 30 feet to the point of beginning. The city attorney is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and fi~e a complaint in eminent domain for the purpose of acquiring the land hereinbefore described , and to do all s~ch things as may be necessa~! to carry into effect the purposes of this resolution. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city council of the City of South San Francisco, at a regular meeting of said city council, this 19th day of June, 1950, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K.
