A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REBEE PLAN
RK~OLVED by ghe Cigy Council of the City of Sough San Francisco that said city council
hereby approved the Reber Plan for developmeng in the Bay of San Francisco for ghe following reasons:
1. It is a masger plan for developmeng in the Bay of San Francisco.
2. De~elopmeng in the'Bay of San Francisco, according to this plan, will be the means
of supplying fresh wager for industrial and domesgic uses.
3. The lakes resulging from such developmeng will make provision for recreagion purpose.
&. The plan will aid in preparation for national defense, as a causeway may be built
from San Francisco go the maihland. If such causeway should be da~a~ed by bombing, ig can be more
readily repaired than %he San Francisco Bay Bridge can be, in %he even% of damage to that bridge in
war gime.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 17th day of July, 1950, by the follow-
ing vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco
Noes, Councilmen, None.
Absent, Councilmen Emilio Cortesi
