HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1571-1950 RESOLUTION NO. 1571 A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A S~'~R ALONG AN ~i~S~ENT AT THE RF~tR OF THE PROPERTY OF THE ENT~PRISE FOUNDRY CO. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, inopen session, on the 7th day of August, 1950, publicly open, examine and declare all bids or proposals submitted for the construction of a sewer along an easement at the rear of the property of the Enterprise Foundry Company in said city; RESOLVED by theCity Council of theCity of South San Francisco t~at said city council hereby rejects all said bids or proposals, except t~hat next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for the construction of said sewer, including the furnishing of all labor and materials, to the lowest responsible bidder, to-~t: B. MIL~ THOMAS COMPANY~ at the price named in its bid, to-wit: Item 1. 10" inch Vitrified Clay Pipe Sewer @ $3.50 per lineal ft. Item 2. Standard Manholes @ $165.00 each. Item 3. Cubic Yards crushed tack @ $4.00 per yard. The ~yor and the City Clerk are hereby directed, in the name of said city and under its coroorate seal, to execute the contract hereby awarded. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of SouthSan Francisco this 21st day of August, 1950, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K.
