RESOLUTION FIXING SALARIES AND HOURS OF CITY OFFICERS
AND t~LOYEES .
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city
council hereby fixes the salaries and comoensations to be paid to the officers and other employees
hereinafter designated, as follows:
Tax Collector
Deputy Tax Collector
Chief of Police
Chief of Fire Department
Superintendent of Streets
Libra rian
Assistant Librarian
Assistant Librarian
Humane Officer
Recreation Director
Captain of Police
Sergeant of Police
Patrolman
First Assistant Fire Chief
Second Assistant Fire Chief
Fireman
Building Inspector
Assistant Building Inspector
Street Foreman
Street Sweeper Operator
Utility Men (street and park
dept.)
Laborers (street and park dept.)
Laborers (street and park dept;)
Typist-Clerk

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said city council that said city council does hereby fix
the work v~eek of the officers and other employees hereinafter designated, as follows:
The officers and employees hereinafter designated shall work forty (40) hours in each
c.alendar week:
Captain of Police, Sergeant of Police, Patrolmen, Street Foreman, Street Sweeper
Operator, Utility men (street and park dept.), Laborers (street and park dept.), Uead Gardener, and
Assistant Head Gardener.
The officers and employe(~s hereinafter designated shall work sixty (60) hours in
each calendar week:
First Assistant Fire Chief, Second Assistant Fire Chief, and Firemen.
The rates of compensation and hours of work hereinbefore provided for are effective
as of the 1st day of October, 1950.
I hereby certify that the foregoin= resolution was regularly introduced and adooted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 2nd day of October, 1950, by the
following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen, Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco, Emilio Cortesi
Noes, Councilmen, None.
Absent, Councilmen, None.
