HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1583-1950RYSOLUTION NO. 1583 RESOLUTION AYfARDING BID FOR THE CO~.BTRUCTION OF A 'SANITARY S~q~ B~WEEN LINDF~ AVENUE AND EDISON AVENUE ON HILLSIDE BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO. RFSOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City Council approves and accepts the bid or proposal of L. C. Smith Company, the terms of which are hereinafter set forth, for the constm~ction of a sanitary se~er between Linden Avenuemd Edison Avem~e on Hillside Boulevard in the City of South San Francisco. The terms or unit nrice of said bid are as follows: Item 1: 1,920 Lineal feet 8" vitrified clay oipe, the sum of $1.70 per lineal foot $3,26&.00 Item 2: lO~[¥es, the sum of $4.75 each &?.50 Item 3: 11 Standard manholes, the sum of $167.50 each 1,8A2.50 Item 4: 5 only, connect to existing manholes, the sum of $30.00 each 150.00 Item 5: 6 only, Raise existinK manholes to ~rade, the sum of $30.00 each - 180.O0 Total Bid $5,484.00 The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to enter into a contract with said L. C. Smith Company to perform said work, upon said company's filing of the requisite bonds with said city clerk. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 2nd day of October 1950, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen, Victor Boido, Charles K.
