A PUBLIC BUILD- ING LOCATED ON LAND ACQUIRED FOR TUE CONSTRUCTION OF A S~fAGE DISPOSAL PLANT AND OTHER PUBLIC PURPOSES. ~E~EAS the City of South San Francisco has no use, and will have no use, for the building located on the land hereinafter mentioned, and oublic necessity requires that said buildingshould be removed from sai~ land ~nd that said buildin~ should be sold, in order that it may be removed from said land; R~OLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it is the intention of said city council to sell the buildin~ designated as follows: 40' x 192' wood frame building formerly used as a shop building located at the northerly end of Belair Island on property owned by the City of South San Francisco, which building is located on the land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and acquired from the United States of America. Said city council determines that it is necessary to remove said. building from said land, in order that said city may construct a sewage disposal plant on said land and that said building should be sold, in order that it may be removed from said land. Said city council hereby fixes the time and place for hearinE protests to the proposed sale of said building on October 16, 1950, at the hour of 8 o'clock p. m., in the council chamber of said city council, in the city hall of said city. Any person interested may protest the proposed sale of said building at said time and place. The following is an accurate descri~bion of the property to be sold: 40' x 192' wood frame buildinK formerly used as a shop building located at the northerly end of Belair Islandon property owned by the City of South San Francisco. Said buildin~ is located on the land acquired by said city from the United States of America, by an instrument dated the 23rd day of November, 19~9, which instrument was recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, California, on the 9th day of December, 19~9, in Volume 1758 of Official Records at page 294. The city clerk is hereby directe~ to cause a copy of this resolution to be m~blished by two (2) successive insertions in the SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENTERPRISE-JOURNAL, a weekly newspaper D~blished and circulated in said city of South San Francisco. Said city clerk is also hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing hereinbefore provided for to be published by two (2) insertions in said SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FNT~RPRISE-JOURNAL. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was re~.~ularly adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this 2nd day of October, 1950, by the followin~ vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K.
