HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1587-1950RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 1587 h~EREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, lin open session, on the 16th day of October, 1950, publicly open, examine 'and declare all sealed p. roposals or bids for ~ , doing all the improvement work described in Resolution of Intention No. 1573, which resolution of intention was adopted by the city council on the 28th day of August, 1950, to which resolution of intention reference is hereby made for a description of s~id work and the assessment district in said resolution of intention described. RESOLVED that city council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids, except that next hereinafter mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doin~ s~id work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: L. C. SMITH COMPANY at the prices named in its bid, to-wit: Item 1 - Ten Inch Reinforced Concrete pipe per lineal foot, Item 2 - Twelve Inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe per lineal foot, Item 3 - Twelve Inch Corrugated Metal Pipe per lineal foot, Item 4 - ~ Standard Curb and Gutter Inlets each, Item 5 - 2 Standard Manholes each, Item 6 - Reconstruct Existing Curb, per lineal foot, Item 7 - Remove ExistinK Sidewalk per sq. foot. Item 8 - Combined Curb and Gutter per lineal foot, $2.65 $188.50 $188.5o So.&? $o.12 $1.60 Item 9 - Concrete Sidewalk Four Inches Thick per sq. foot. Item 10 - Concrete Sidwalk Six Inches Thick per sq. foot. Item 11 - Pavement, Six Inch Crusher run base with 2~ Inch Plant Mix Surface per square foot, Item 12 - Adjust Manholes to Grade each, $0.33 SO.a? $0.215 $30.00 The city clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of this award conspicuously for five (5) days on or near the council chamber door of this city council, and also to publish said notice by two (2) insertions in the South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal, a newspaoer of ~eneral circulation, published and circulated in said City of South San Francisco.
