HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1603-1950 RF~SOLffTION NO. 1603 ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, the ~¥orks Engineer of said City has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wa~es in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in t~solution of Intention No. 159& adopted November 13, 1950, as changed and modified; particulars; ~EREAS, said rate of per diem wages in attached hereto and b}.~ reference made a part hereof; WHEREAS, this Council has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERNINED and ORDERED, as follows: 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications is hereby adopted as the pre- vailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which such public work is proposed to be performed. 2. 'ihat not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention, as changed and modified. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this Ath day of December, 1950, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco, Emilio Cortesi Noes, Councilmen, None Absent, Councilmen Charles K.
