HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1611-1950RESOLUTION NO. 1611 OF AIYARD OF CONTRACT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that, WHEREAS, said Council did in open session on the 18th day of December, 1950, p~licly open, examine and declare all seaIed proposals or bids for the work to be done and improvements to be m~de, as described and specified in Resolution of Intention NO. 159A of SAid Council adopted November 13~ 1950, as modified by Resolution No. 1607 Ordering Changes and Modifications, adopted December 18,.1950, And as propesed to be modified by Resolution No. 1608 of intention to Make Changes and Modifications adopted on December 18, 1950 to which resolution reference is hereby made for a description of the work and improvements to be done and the materials, supplies and equipment to be 5~rnished therefor; ~0~, THEREFORE, IT IS HF~EB¥ ORDERED, as follows: 1. That said Council hereby rejects all of sa%d proposals, or bids except that here- inafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and furnishing the materials, s~pDlies and equipment necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: ~ARRETT & HILP at the unit prices named in their alternate proposal. 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby authorized to make and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder and to receive and approve all bonds in connection the rewith. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of ~outh San Francisco, this lgth day of ~ecember, 1950, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen victor Boido, Charles K.
