RESOLUTION NO. 163&
Resolved by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the deed, dated the
18th day of January., 1931 in which Tanforan Company, Ltd., a corporation, conveys to the City
of South San Francisco an easement for the construction and maintenance of a public street or high-
way over and upon all that certain tract or parcel of land hereinafter described be, and the same
hereby is accepted.
Said land is situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of
California, and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point On the northwesterly line of that certain tract of land conveyed
to Tanforan Company, Ltd., a Corporation, by Deed recorded in Book 1279 of Official Records of
San Mateo County at Page h~ (96&2G), which point bears North 31° 35' 97" East 80.&O feet from
the westerly corner of said tract; thence along the northwesterly line of said parcel North 31°
35' 07" East 1017.O3 feet to the southerly corner of Lot 56, Block l, as shown upon that certain
Map entitled, "Francisco Terrace," which Map was recorded in Book 29 of Maps at Page 18, San
Mateo County Records; thence South 58° 2~' 53" East 15.&O feet; thence northeasterly on a curve
to the right with a radius of 20&O feet from a tangent bearing of North 37° 10' Ol" East, an arc
distant of 87.52; thence North 39° 37' 30" ~t 209.02 feet to the southwesterly line of the Mar-
ket Street Railway, now owned by the City a~d C~nty of San Francisco; thence along said south-
westerly line South 3&° 50' 59" East 83.03 feet; thence South 390 37' 30"~West 186.79 feet; thence
southwesterly along a curve to the left, tangent to the proceeding course, with a radius of 1960
feet, an arc distance of 85.12 feet; thence South 37° 08' 12"~West 265.95 feet; thence southwester-
ly along a curve to the left tangent to the proceeding course, with a radius of 1960 feet, an arc
distant of 189.90 feet; thence South 31o 35' 07" West 272.&9 feet; thence southwesterly along a cur-
ve to the right tangent to the proceeding course with a radius of 690 feet, an arc distance of 289.88
feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.92 acres more or less.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause said deed and a certified copy of this re-
solution is to be recorded in the office of the County Recorded of the County of San Mateo, Calif-
ornia.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 19th day of February, 1951, by the fol-
lowing vote:
