RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City
Council hereby protests against the issuance of an off-sale generalalcoholic beverage license
to ~OSEPH BERTOLUCCI and LA~%E~CE R. BEHTOLUCCI, at No. 142 Hazelwood Drive, in the City of
South San Francisco, California, for the following reasons:
There are now thirty (30) on-sale liquor licenses and thirteen (13) off-sale
liqour licenses in the City of South San Francisco, and liquor is sold at each of the places
where said liquor licenses exist. The issuance of another license for the sale of liquor in
this city will be detrimental to the welfare and best interests of this city and will add to
the problems and burdens of law enforcement by the .police department of this city, which pro-
blems and burdens are now heavy.
For the foregoing reasons, the City Council hereby requests that the State
Board of ~qualization refuse to issue an'off-sale general liquor license to said JOSEPH
BERTOLUCCI and LA~.'~ENCE R. BERTOLUCCI.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 26th day of March, 1951,
by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Boido, Elder, Sani, Bracco, Cortesi
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
