HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1649-1951A RESOLUTION OF INTh1~TION TO VACATE THE P~BLIC HIGHWAY ADJACENT TO PROPERTY OF THE STONESON DE~ELOP~i~T CORPORATION IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO Resolved by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in the County of San Mateo, State of California, as foll~s: Section 1. It is the intention of said City Council to order the following public highway in skid City to be vacated: A strip of land 20 feet in width lying contiguous to and Southeasterly of the Northwesterly line of lands described in Deed from Stoneson Brothers, a partnership, to The Stone- crest Corporation, a California corporation, dated July 20, 1950, and recorded July 20, 1950 in Book 1902 of Official Records of San Mateo County at page 53~ (72958-1) and extend- lng from the Southwesterly line of E1 Camino Real to the Northeasterly line of the J~nuipero Serra Boulevard. Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 7th day of May, 1951, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber, City Hall, in said city of South San ~rancisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the vacation of said public highway. Section3. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, giving the time and place of hearing thereon, shall be conspicuously oosted along the' line of said public highway, at not more than THREE H~VDRED (300) feet in distance apart, and not less than THREE (3) in all. Section 4. The action hereby taken by said City Council is pursuant to that certain act of the Legislature of the State of California known as the "Street Vacation Act of 19Al," the s~me being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. Section 5. This resolution of intention shall be published by one (1) insertion in the South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said City of South San ~¥ancisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 2nd day of April, 1951, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Boido, Elder, Sani, Bracco, Cortesi Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None Attest: Daniel J.
