HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1667-1951RESOLUTION NO. 1667 A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC THOROUGHFARES OR ALLEYS IN PE~K'S LOTS IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO. ~EREAS t~ City Council of' the City of South San Francisco did, on the 7th day of May, 1951, adopt a resolution declaring its intenti~n to order the vac~%ie~ of the public thoroughfares or alleys designated as follows: The alley between Block "U" and Block "X" and the alley between BloCk "A" and Block "U" , as sho~m Upon that c$rtain map 'entitled "Supple- mental Map to and Re-Subdivision of Blocks "R" and "S" of Map of Peck's SubdiVision No. 1, South San Francisco, O.-14t~nia," w~ich map was filed in the office of the County. Recorder of the County of san Mateo, California, OctOber 23, 1913, and recor- ded in Book 9 of Maps at page 10. AND ~{EREAS said resolution of intention was published and notice of the passage of said reso- lution of intention was-posted in the m~ner and form required bylaw' and as required by said resolution of intention, reference being' hereby made to the'a~tite e£ A~ BRAMBLE~ and ~ L. ~CH~INING, which affidavits are now on file .in the office' of the city clerk of said city; and ~,~EREAS A public hearing on said~ resolution of intention was held at a regular meeting of said City Council in the City. Hall of said City of South San Francisco' on the ~th day of June, 1951, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m.; and ~HERE~S no written protest has been made against the vacation of said public thoroughfares or alleys; and ~hereas said City Council has found and de,ermined and does hereby find and determine that the public thoroughfares or alleys hereinafter designated are unnecessary for present or prospective public ~horoughfare ~urposes; NOW, THEREFORE, said City Council hereby orders that the public thoroughfares or alleys here- inbefore designated be,and the same hereby are vacated. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 18th day of June, 1951, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Charles K.
