HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1679-1951RESOLUTION NO. 1679 RESOLUTION AWARDING COkW~RACT WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 9th day of July, 1951, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the work described in resolution of intention No. 1666, adopted by said city council on the 6th day of June, 1951; RESOLVED that said city council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids, except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for said work to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: L. C. Smith Company, at the prices named in its bid, to wit: Item 1, the sum of Seventy Cents ($.70) per cubic yard; Item 2, the sum of Fifty-eight Cents ($.58) per lineal foot; Item 3, the sum of Twooand Thirty/lO0 Dollars ($2.30) per lineal foot; Item ~, the sum of Two and 65/100 Dollars ($2.65) perlineal foot; Item 5, the sum of Two and 20/100 Dollars ($2.20) per lineal foot; Item 6, the sum of Seven Dollars ($7.O0) per lineal foot; Item 7, the sum of Two and 65/100 Dollars (~2.65) per lineal foot; Item 8, the sum of Two and 85/100 Dollars ($2,85) per lineal foot; Item 9, the sum of Three and 30/100 Dollars ($3.30) per lineal foot; Item 10, the sum of Four and 10/100 Dollars ($&.lO) per lineal foot; Item 11, the sum of Three and 80/100 Dollars ($3.80) per lineal foot; Item 12, the sum of Five and 25/100 Dollars ($5.25) per lineal foot; Item 13, the sum of Thirty-two Dollars ($32.00) per lineal foot; Item iA, the sum of Five and 25/100 Dollars ($5.25) each; Item 15, the sum of Six and 75/100 Dollars ($6.75) each; Item 16, the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) each; Item 17, the sum of Six Hundred and Forty Dollars' ($6d0.00) each; Item 18, the sum of Thirty-five Dollars.($35.00) each; Item 19, the s,nm of Forty-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($~7.50) each. The city clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of t~is award conspicuously for five (5) days near the council chamber door of this council, and also to publish said notice by two (2) insertions in the Enterprise-South San Francisco Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said city of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 9th day of July, 1951, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K.
