HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1682-1951Mayor of the City of South San Francisco, California RESOLUTION NO. 1682~ C 0NDEMNAT I0N RE~0LUTION RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council finds and determines~ and hereby ~edt~r~$ that: Public interest and necessity require the construction of a sanitary~ sewer in and through the land next hereinafter described. RESOLVED FURTHER that said City of South San Francisco acquire the real property next herinafter described by condemnation in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure and the Constitution of the State of Californi~ relating to eminent domain and prepare and prosecute in the name of the People of the ~tate of Ca~ifornia such proceeding or proceedings in the Superior Court of the State of Cali- fornia, in and for the County of San Mateo, as are necessary for such acquisition;~ the laud last hereinbefore referred to consists of all that certain tract or parcel of land situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, and described a~ follows: A strip of land 10 feet in width, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on ~ northwesterly line of Country Club Drive, as shown on that certain map entitled, Map No. l, Country Club Parkm, recorded in BooS 23 of Maps at Pages 54, 55 and 56, San Mateo County Records. said point of beginning bears North 58° 45' East 281 feet from the most easterly corner of Block B, as shown on said Map no.^l. Country ClUb Park; thence North 31~15' West 455 feet to the northwesterly boundary of the par- cel of land described in the deed to Caesar Martinelli, recorded under File No. 16~llH, San Mateo County Records; thence N~rth 58° 45' East 10 feet; thence South 31-1§~? East 455 feet to said northerly line of Country Club Drive; thence Eouth 88° 48' West l0 feet to the point of beginning. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and file a. complaint in eminent domain for the purpose of acquiring the land hereinbefore described, and to do all such things as may be necessary to carry into effect the purposes of this resolu- tione I hereby certify that the foregoing res~olution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of ~outh San Franctsoo, at a regular meeting of said City Council, this 2~rd day of July, 1981, by the following vote: A~es, Councilmen Noe s, Councilmen Charles K. Eider, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco, Emilio Cortesi None
