HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1686-1951City ClerE RESOLUTION NO. 1686 CONDEMN~T ION RESOLUTION RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Sourish S~n Francisco that said city council finds and determines and-hereby declares that: Public interest and necessity require tha construction of a sanitary sewer in and through the land next hereinafter~desc~ibed. RESOIi;ED FURTHER that said City of South San Francisco acquire tlle real ~property next hereinafter described by dondemnation in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure and the Constitution of the State of California relating to eminent domain and prepare and prosecute in the name of the People of the State of California much proceeding or proceedings in the Superior Court of the State of Callforfl,~, in and for the County of San Mateo, as are necessary for such acquisition; the land last herein- before refeered to consists of all that ~e~gin tract or parcel of land situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, and described as follows: A strip of land 10 feet in width lying along the northwesterly b~undary of the parcel of land described in the deed to Antonio M. Moreno, recorded under File No. 8288I, San Mateo County records, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of said Moreno parcel, said point bears South 58° 45' West 25 feet, North 31o 15" West 242.64 feet and North 45oll' 15''~ West 194.58 feet from the most wes- terly corner of Lot 2~. Block E, as shown on the map, entitled, ~Map No. l, Country Club Park,' recorded in Book 23 of Maps at Pages 54, 55 and 56, San Mateo County records; thence along the northwesterly boundary of said lands of Moreno North 27° 45' East 410 feet to the most nor- therly corner o~ said lands of Moreno; thence South 31 02~' ~0= East 11.69 feet; thence South 2V _~5' West 405.87 feet; thence South 49° 30' West 1.10 feet;, thence North 45© 11' 15" West 10.03 feet to the point of beginning. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and file a complaint in eminent domain for the purpose of acelniring the _land hereinbefore described, and to do all such things as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpSses of this resolution.
