HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1706-1951RESOLUTION NO. 1706 A RESOLUTION AWARDING O(~TRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTIPLE BOX CULV~T IN SPRUCE AVENUE AT COLMA C~_R~K. WHERFAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 20th day of August, 1951, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids submitted for the cons- truction of a multiple box culvert in Spruce Avenue at Colma Creek in said city; RESOLVED that said city council hereby rejects all said proposals and bids, except that next hereinafter mentioned, and awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder, Arthur W. Baum, at the prices named in his bid, as follows: Item 1, $7.30 per lineal foot; Item 2, $6.OO per ton; Item 3, $77.00 per cubic yd.; Item $32.00 per cubic yard; Item 5, $35.00 per lineal ft; Item 6, $6.00 per cubic yard. The mayor and the city clerk are hereby directed to execute a contract, in behalf of said city, with said successful bidder. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city council of the City of SouthSan Francisco, this ~th day of September, 1951, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco, Emilio Cortesi Noes, Councilmen, None Absent, Councilman ~arles K.
