A RESOLUTION AW^RDING THE CONTRACT FOR SURFACING OF THE PARKING
LOT AT THE CORNER OF MILLER AVFAW3E AND MAPLE AVENUE IN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
~?HEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did , in open session,
on the 19th day of November, 1951, publicly open, examine and declare all bids or pro-
posals received for the work hereinafter mentioned;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City
Council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids, exceot that next hereinafter men-
tioned, and hereby awardS~the contract for said word to Lowrie Paving Company~ the lowest

responsible bidder, at the unit prices stated in said bid, to-wit:
Item 1, One Dollar ($1~) per cubic yard; Item 2, seventy - five cents ($0.75)
per lineal foot; Item 3, ninecents ($0.09) per square footi Item~ three cents ($O~O3)
per square foot; Item 5, One Dollar ($~1OO) per'Lineal foot; Item 6, Two Dollars ($2.00)
per Liheal foot; Item 7, seventy five cents ($0.75) per square foot; ItemS, five dollars
($5.00) per lineal foo%; Item 9, sixty cents ($O.60) per square foot.
ALTER~ATE "A"
Item 1, ninety cents ($ 0.90) per cubic yard; Item 2, nine cents ($0.09) per
square foot.
Said work consists of the following:
The surfacing of the automobile park~ng lot at ;he intersection O$ Miller Avenue
and Maple avenue in the City of South San Francisco.
The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby directed to execute'a contract with said
successful bidder for said work.
I herebIcertify that the foregoing resolution was re$~larly introduced and a-
dopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 3rd day of December,
1951, by the following vote:
