HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1758-1952RESOLUTION NO. 1758 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISBING AND INSTALLATION OF A SEWAGE PUMP AND OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR THE MUNICIPAL SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, iu open session on the 2nd day of June, 1952, duly open, examine, and declare all sealed proposals for the furnishings and installation of all equipment and dc~ng all necessary work in connection with the following improvements to be made upon the sewage disposal plant of said city: (1) a sewage pump; (2) a mechanically cleaned bar screen; and (3) a gas-fired incinerator. RESOLVED by said City Council that all said bids, except that next hereinafter mentioned, be, and the same hereby are, rejected, and that said City Council hereby awards the contract of said work to PETER SORENSEN at the prices named in his bid, to-wit: Item l, Item Item Item (se pum ) $8,o8o.oo (mechanically cleaned bar screen) $12,450.00 (gas-fired incinerator) $925.00 (electrical work) $2,100.00 Item 1, (allowance on salvage items) $500.00 The mayor and the city clerk are hereby directed to execute the contract for said work with said successful bidder. ~XXXXXXXX~XXXXXXXXXX I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 2nd day of June, 1952, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Telford Smith Noes, Councilmen, None Absent, Councilmen, Joseph Bracco Attest: Elizabeth Ottenfield Acting City Clerk
