HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1792-1952!58 RESOLUTION NO. 1792 P~LSOLUTION A~VARDING CONTRACT. ~THEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session , on the 21st day of July, 1952, publicly, open, examine, and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and improvement and for the furnishing' of all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the doing of said work and improvement, in said City, described in Resolution of Intention No. 1762 of the City Council of said City, adopted on the 2nd day of June, 1952, which Besolution of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and improvement and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said ResolUtion of Intention; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and making said improvement and ~or the furnishing of all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the doing of said work or improvement to the lowest re- sponsible bidder, to-wit: PETER SOVERNSEN at the prices named in his bid on file in the office of the City Clerk. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publi'sh notice of said award twice in the so~rH SAN FRANCISCO ENTERP.~ISE-JO~RNAL, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said City and hereby designated for that purpose by said City Council. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted ~t a regular meeting of the City of South San Francisco held on the 21st day of July, 1952, by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None Arthur A. Rodondi City Clerk
