HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1794-1952RESOL~TION NO. 179~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF SO~H ~AN FRANcIScO ACCEPTING A DF~ED FROM THE STONESON DE- YVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN'~ CISCO RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city hereby accepts that certain deed, dated July 1, 1952, whereby THE STONESON DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION grants and conveys to ~aid City of South Sa~ Francisco the following described real property: Ail that certain real property situate in the city of South San Francisco, County of San Marco, State of California,~ described as follows: A portion of Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9, Block 13, as said Lots and Block are shown upon that certain map entitled "~INSTON MANOR NO. 2, SO~H SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO CO~TY, CALIFO~WNIA", filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of $a3~ Mateo, State of California, in Book 33 of Maps at pages 28 and 29, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Southwesterly line of Junipero Serra Boulevard Extension with the line dividing Said Lo~s 6 and 7; thence from said point of beginniag along said Southwesterly line South· 25° 33' 30" East 120 feet; thence '~esterly on the arc of a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 30 feet, a central angle of 90° and being tangent to the last mentioned course at the last mentioned point, a distance of &7.12 feet to a point; thence South 6&°26' 30" West tangent to the last mentioned poin$ a distan~.e of 50 feet to a point; thence Southerly on the arc of a curve to the left, ssid curve having a radius of 20 feet, a central angle of 90° and being tangent to the last mentioned course at the last mentioned point, a distance of 31.&2 feet to a point on the Northeasterly line D~ Longford Drive; thence along the last mentioned line North 25° 33' 30" West 120 feet to a point; thence Easterly on the are of a c~rve to the left, said curve having a raduis of 20 feet, a central angle of 90- and being tangent to the last mentioned course at the last mentioned point, a distance of 31.&2 feet to a point;thence North 6&° 26' 30" East tsagent to the last mentioned curv~ at the last mentioned point, a distance of 50 feet; thence Northerly on the arc of a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 30 feet, a central angle of 90°and being tangent to the last mentioned course at the last mentioned point, a distance of &7.12 feet to the Southwesterly line of J,n~ipero Serra Boulevard Extension; thence along the last mentioned line South 25o 33' 30" East 20 feet to the point~of beginning. Beginning at the most Southerly corner of lot 9, Block 15, said Lot and Block being as shown upon that certain map Entitled "Winston Manor No. 2, South San Francisco,. San Mateo County, California", filed in the office of the Re- corder of the County of San Mateo, State of California, in Book 33 of Maps at pages 28 and 2~; thence from said point of beginning along the boundary of said Lot 9 North 6&u 26"30" East 37.39 feet to a point and Northerly on the arc of a cur~e to the left, said curge having a radius of 20 feet, a central angle of 90°.and being tangent to th· last mentioned course at the last mentioned peim~e at the last mentioned point, a distance of 31.&2 feet to the Southwester- ly line of Longford Drive; thence along the last mentioned line South 25° ~' 30" East 100 feet to a point; thence '~¥esterly along the are of a -~urve to the left, said cur~e having a radius of 20 feet, a central angle of 90° and being tangent to the last mentioned course at the last mentioned point, a distance of 31.&2 feet to the Southeasterly line of Dundee Drive; thence along the last mentioned line Sout~ 6&° 26' 30" West 37.39 feet; thence North 25° 33' 30" West 37.39 feet; thence North 25© 33' 30"' West 60 feet to the point of beginning. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause said deed and a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, California. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly int~oduoed and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this &th day of August, 1952, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Telford Smith Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen Joseph Bracco Attest: Arthur A.
