HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1800-1952 R~OLUTION NO. 1800 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT . ~HEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 18th day of August, 1952, publicly open, examine, and declare all aealed proposals or bids for doing the work and improvement, and for the furnishing ef all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the doing of said work and improvement, in said City, described in Resolution of Intention No. 1785 of the City Council of said City, adopted on the 10th day of July, 1952, which resolution of intention is hereby e~pressly referred to for a description of said work and i$- provement and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under sa~d resolution of intention; NO~.~, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY R~OLVED that said city council hereby rejects all of said pro- posals or bids except that herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and making said improvement and for the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the doing of said work or improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: JAMES A. HARDENBHUG, Iba B & D Truck Service at 'the prices named in his bid on file in the office of the city clerk. The city clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said award t~ice in the SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ~T~PRISE-JOURNAL, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said city and here- by designated for that purpose by said City Council. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Cit~ Council of the City of South San Francisco held on the 18th day of August , 1952, by the ~ollowing vote, to-wit: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith, Emilio .Cortesi Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None Attest: Arthur A.
