'..~EP~]AS the City Council of the City of South San Fran~:isco did, in open session, on the
5th day of November, !952, publicly open~ exa~.~ine, and declare all sealed proposals or bids for
doing the work and improvement, and for the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment
necessary for the doing of said work and improvement, in said city;
~O~, TH ~REFORE, IT IS H-E.~E_~Y RESOLVED that said City Co,tncil hereby rejeats all of said
proposals or bids exeept that herein mentioned and hereby aw~rds the contract for doing said
work and ~king said imprgvement a~nd for the furnishing oi' all materials, labor, and equipment
necessary for the doing or said work or improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit:
Frank Smith at the prices nmmed in his bid on file in the office of the ~ity clerk.
Upon the filing of proper bonds by said suceessi'ul bidder with the city ~lerk of saia city,
the ~?myor is hereby authorized to execute the contra~t for doing said work and improvement, and
said city' clerk is hereby ~irected to affix thereto the official seal of said ~ity.
I h~reby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intorduced and adopted at a
re. gulaUlmeeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held on the 17th day of
November, 1952, by the following vote:
Ayes, Counci]m~en John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
