A RESOLUTION ORD;Z[[!NG THE VACATION OF OR EASE~[E~r FOil SEt~ERS FOR DRAINAGE AND SA~!!TARY P~TR- POSES. ~t~REAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 5th day of November, 1952, pass a resolution declaring its intention to order the vacation of the right-of-way or easement for sewers for drain=ge and sanitary pur~os~s i~ a strip oi' land fifteen (15) feet in width, which easement or right-of-way w~s granted to said City of South San Francisco by the South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company by deed dated July 20, 1929, and recorded De~ember 21, 1932, in Book 581 of Official Records of San Mateo County at Page 299, and wi~ich easement or right-of-way crosses the land hereinafter described. The.land hereinafter referred to is all that l~nd situate in the ~ity of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the southwesterly line of Linden Avenue, at the most northerly corner of that certain 0.239 acre parcel described in the Deed from Leonard D. ~,~Leod and wife to Oliver L. Kallen and wife , dated June 23, 19dS and recorded June 29, 19A$ In Book 1525 of Offiaial Records of San Mateo County at page 328 (38831-H); thence ~]ong the northwesterly line of the lands above mentioned, South 33° 25' 08" ~Vest 200.n5 feet to a point, distant 95.12 feet northeasterly, measured at rigb~ angles from the northeasterly line of ~rmour Avenue; thence North 55 deg. 3a' 52" '~st parallel with said northeaste~ line of Armour Avenue, 63 feet; tLenae Nor%h 33 deg. 25' 05" East 192.9~ feet to the ~outhwosterly line of Linden Avenue afo~'ementioned; thence South ~3° 22' 30" East, along the last mentioned line, 53.a5 feet, to the point of beginnihg. A~D '~EREAS the resolution of intention waspublished and notice of the passage os said resolution of intention was posted in the manner and form required by law, and by said resolution of intention, reference being hereby m~e to the affidavits of ~NRV L. SZ~%INING and JEAN HILLi{AN, which affidavits are ~ow on file in sai~ m~tter in the office of the Cit~- Clerk of said City, and 154 are made a part h~reof; an~, ~E:{'!.]AS a public hearing onsaid resolution o5' intention was held at a ref~lar meeting of said City Council in the City Hall of said City of South San Francisco, on the 1st day of December, 1952, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m.; an~, there 'was no protest against the vacation of said right-of-way or easement; and, '~E;~EAS said City Gouncil of the City of South San Francisco has determined and hereby does determine that said right-of-way or easement is uone~essa~ for present or prospective public pur- poses; NOW, THE~EFO~iE, said City Council hereby orOers that the right-of-way or easement hereinbefore described be, and the same hereby is,vacated. I hereby dertify that the foregoing resol~tion ~as regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 1st day of December, 1952, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilme~ohn Noonan, Adolph Sani, ~mi!io Cortesi, joseph Bracco, Telford Omith Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Cotmci~nen None ATTEST: Arthur A. ~odomdi City Clerk
