HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1861-1953RESOL~fION NO. 1861 A RESOLUTION OF T~.~ CITY CO[~CIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING TP~g EXECUTION OF AN AGREEu~.NT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND GARDEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, A PRIVATE CORPORATION, RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVE- MY~TS IN THAT CERTAIN S~BDIVISION KNO~N AS SUNSHINE GAPJ)ENS SUBDIVISION NO. 2. ~EREAS GARDEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY as dmw~loper of that certain subdivision situate in the City of South San Francisco and designated as "Sunshine Gardens Subdivision No. 2" is desirous of entering into an agreement with t he City of Sou{h San Francisco relative to uhe construction of public improvements in said subdivision, which a~reement is required by the terms of the subdivision ordinance of said city; and ~HEREAS C. E. RANDLETT, Works Engineer ~f said city, has submitted an estimate of the cost of the construction of the necessary public improvements in siad subdivision, which estimate is in the sum of FIFTY TNO~SAND DOLLARS (~50,000.00), NOW,~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said City Council does hereby declare its willingness to enter into such agreement on behalf of said city relative to the constzuction of such improvements in said subdivision, ~ai~l agreement to specify the sum o~' money estimated by the Works Engineer as above specified with respect to the cost of t he construction of the nenessary public improvements in said sub- division. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute sunh agreement on behalf of said city and the City Clerk is instructed to affix thereto the ~orporate seal of ~at~ city. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 2nd day of February, 1953, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford ~mith Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen NO~e Attest: ~t~A.
