HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1886-1953City Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 18~6 ESTABLISHING PR~YAILING WAGE SCALE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that ~ERFAS the Works Engineer ~of said city has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 1881 adopted the ~th day of May, 1953, and V~EAS this City Council has duly considered said scale and finds the same te be correct in all particulars; NO~', ~iEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORD~RE~, as follows: 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications is hereby adopted as the pre- vailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which such public work ~ proposed to be performed. 2. The. t not less than said general pr~iling rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting thereof held on the ~th day of May, 1953, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith NOES, Councilmen None ABS~T, Councilmen None ATTEST: Arthur A.
