HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1898-1953 RESOLUTION NO. 1898 A ~IESOLUTION OF THE CITY ~OL~NCIL CHANGING Tt~ NAMES OF CERTAIN PUHLIC STR~TS IN SAID CITY. RESOLVED b~ the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the names of certain public streets in said city be changed as follows: That the public streets now known as Bayshore Boulevard and South Bayshore Boulevard be renamed so that the two streets together shall hereafter be known as "Airport Boulevard". ~That the portion of the public street now known as Magnolia Avenue, commencing at Railroad Avenue and extending to Myrtle Avenue, be renamed "South Magnolia Avenue". That the public street now known as Dana Way in Avalon Park Tract be rena~med "DoradoWay". That the public thoroughfare or service road leading to the ~nicipal Sewage Disposal Plant be named "Belle Air Road." The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to procure proper str~,et signs to show the chan~e of said names above ordered and, he is further directed to erect said signs in appropriate places. I hereby certify th~t the foregoing resolution was regularly intorduced and adopted by the City ~ouncil of the City of South San Francisco, this 1st day of ~ne , 1953.
