COUNCIL OF TH]{ CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREE~IENT BP~-
~rFEN SAID CITY ,1ND T~U~ HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FR3U~CISCO ?~ITH RF~3PECT TO
RENTAL CHARGES.
~*[?REIS the Housing Authority of the City of South San F~rancisco, a public corporation,
is the manager and operator of three Federal Housing Projects within said city, namely,
Lindenville', Palau Village, and Industrial Village; and
¥.~t~REAS said Housing Authority must, of necessity, avail itself of the sewerage facilities
of the City of South San Francisco, and said city has heretofb~e enacted an ordinance requiring
all persons, firms, and corporations to pay a monthly sewer rental for the use of the municipal
sewerage facilities, depending upon the extent to which such facilities are used; and
%~EREAS said Housing Authority is willing to enter into a contract ~tth said city requiring
said Housing Authority to pay to said city Sixty-Five Cents (655) per month for each rental
unit which is occupied in said public hou3ing projects and for which a sewage rental charge is
collected, remittance to be made to said city on or before the 15th df the month following
that for wb~ich the rental is collected; and
httEREAS the City Council of said city deems said contract fair and reasonable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cit? Oouncil of the City of South San Francisco that
said city enter into a contract with said Housing Authority in the manner and form of the agree-
ment attached hereto, and marked "Exhibit A". The Mayor of said city is hereby authorized to
execute said agreement on behalf of said city and the 8ity Clerk of said city is hereby directed
to affix thereto its corporate seal.
