A RESOLUTION OF THE CITf COL'N~L OF TIlE CI,~f OF SOUTH,
SAN FR&~TC!S~O AUTHORIZING TEE EX~H~E OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY ~ED BY SAID 3ITY FOR PLAYGROUND FURPOSF~ IN
k~NSTON MANOR SUBDIVISION NO. 2 FOR C~O~TAIN PRO¥'ERTY LY-
ING WITHIN'~INSTON M~NOR SUBDIVISION NO. ~.
~'~EREAS The Stonecrest Corporation, a California corporation, did convey and transfer
to the City of South San Francisco on the 24th day of June, 1952, a certain area lying
within Winston Manor Subdivision No. 2 for the purposes of a public playground, which
transfer was made byway of dedication to s~.id City; and
~.~REAS it appears to be to the best interests of tt:c ~'*
~y of South San Francisco
and of the citizens of said city t~'::st said property be exchanged for certain other real
property lying within an adjoining subdivision, namely, Winston Manor Subdivision No. 5;
and
~.EAS The Stonecrest Corporation has agreed to accept a return of the property
lying within ~nstonManor No. 2 and granted to s~id City of South San Francisco, as
aforesaid, ard h~s further agreed to transfer and convey to said city certain other
real property lying within Winston Manor Subdivision No. 5, which property is owned by
said corporation,
NO~4 T~!UREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco that said City Council does hereby determine that it is for t!~e best interests
and welfare of the City of South San Francisco and the people thereof that the afore-
mentioned exchange of properties be m~de. In this connection, the Mayor of s~id
city is hereby authorized to exec~.~te a deed to said proporty on behalf of said city,
conve~ng the ~sameto theStoncrest Corporation, and t!:e City Clerk is hereby directed
to affix thereto the corporate seal of said city.
I hereby certify t~at tt~e foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 6th day of July, 1953, by
the following vote:
AYES: CounciLmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, ~milio Cortesi, Telford Omith
NO~: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen Joseph Bracco
