HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1915-1953RESOLUTION NO. 1915 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF V~ACATE A PORTION OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY OR THOROUO}~ARE KNU~ AS RANDOLPH AVE~UE AND LYING ~,STHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN- UISCOi RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in County of San Mateo, State of California, as foll~s: Section 1. It is the intention of said City Council to order the following public road- way or thoroughfare, comprising a part of Randolph Avenue, in said City to be vacated: (For pa~rticuhr description of said roadway?or thoroughfare see attached document marked EXHIBIT "A") Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 3rd day of August, 1953, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber, City Hall, in said City of South San Fran- cisco, State of California, as the time and place for hearing ~ll persons interested in,or objecting to, the vacation of said public roadway or thoroughfare. ~ Section 3. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, giving the time and place of hearing thereon, shall be conspicuously posted along the line of said public road- way or thoroughfare, at not more than THREE HUNDRED (300) feet in distance apart, a~d less than THREE (3) in all. Section ~. The action hereby taken by said City Council is pursuant to that certain act of the legislature of the State of California known as t he "Street Vacation Act of 19&l", the same being Division 9. Part 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Califonia. Section 5. This resolution of intention shall be published by one (1) insertion in the South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published and cir- culated in said City of South San Francisco. Rodondi City Clerk 242 EXHIBIT "A" All that real property in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, described as follows: PARCEL I: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 60, Block A as shown upen that certain map entitled "Peck's Subdivision Nc. 1" recorded in Volume 5 of Maps at page 11, San M~teo County Records; thence North 76e Al' 30" West 10.39 feet; thence Northwesterly along a cur~e to the right with a radius of 270 feet tangent to the preceding course ~9.89 feet to the Easterly line of Lot 23, Block V as shown upon said map of Pack's Subdivision No. 1; thence along said easterly line North 13° 22' 06" East 35.~O feet; thence North 76° ~1' 30" ~est 91.86 feet to the northeasterly line of Randolph Avenue and the westerly corner of Parcel A shown upon that certain map entitled "Peck's Heights" recorded in Volume 36 of Maps at psge 2~, San Mateo County Records; thence Northwesterly slong a curve to the right with a radius of 270 feet from a radical line bearing North 44° 53' Al" East, an arc distance of A2.13 feet; thence northeasterly along a reverse curbe to the left with a radius of 330 feet, an arc distance of 61.20 feet to the Northerly line of Randolph Avenue shown upon said map of Peck's Subdivision Nc. 1; thence along said Northerly line South 76° 41' 30" East 235.87 feet to the Northwesterly corner of the aforsaid Lot 60; thence along the-westerly line of said Lot 60 South 13° 22' 06" West iO0 feet to the point of beginning.
