RESOLUTION NO. 1916
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND GARDEN
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, A PRIVATE CORPORATION,
RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVE-
MENT IN THAT CERTAIN SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS SUN-
SHINE GARDENS SUBDIVISION NO. 5
WHEREAS GARDEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY as developer of that certain subdivision
situate in the City of South San Francisco and designated as "Sunshine Gardens
Subdivision No. 5" is desirous of entering into an agreement with the City of
South San Francisco relative to the con'~truction of oublic improvements in said
subdivision, which agreement is required by the terms of the subdivision ordinance
of said city; and
WHEREAS: 6. E. RANDLETT, Works Engineer of said city, has submitted an estimate
of the cost of the construction of the necessary oublic imorovements in said shb-
division, which estimate is in the sum of NINETY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($90,000.00)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said City Council does hereby declare
its willingness to enter into such agreement on behalf of said city relative
to the construction of such improvements in said subdivision, said agreement to
specify the sum of money estimated by the Works Engineer as above specified
with respect to the cost of the construction of the necessary oublic imorovements
in said subdivision.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of said
city and the City Clerk is instructed to affix thereto the corporate seal of said
city.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intorduced and
adooted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meet-
ing this 2Oth day of July, 1953, by the following vote:
