A RESOLUTION ~OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ACCEPTING A DEED FROM THE
STONESON DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
LYING WITHIN SAID CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELOCATING
ACROSS SAID PROPERTY HOLLY AVENUE.
WHEREAS the City of South San Francisco has heretofore agreed to accept from
The Stoneson Development Corporation, a private corporation, certain real property
for the nurpose of relocating Holly Avenue, a public .street lying within said city
in exchange for a portion of the area over which said Holly Avenue has heretofore
been extended; and~
WHEREAS said city has completed the ~ec~ssary steps to vacate said portion of said
Holly Avenue and, in addition, has adopted a resolution declaring its intention to
sell or exchange the real property over which said portion of Holly Avenue has here-
to fore been extended, and has this day ordered the exchange of parcels of real pro-
perty as specified in the first paragraph above; and
WHEREAS The Stoneson Development Gorporation has ten4ered to the City of South San
Francisco its deed to the property to be exchanged with the property owned by the city,
as above designated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City CoUncil of the City of South San
Francisco that said deed, which is dated August 28, 1953, and whereby The Stoneson
Development Corporation grant s to the City of South San Francisco the property
therein particularly described, be, and the same hereby is accepted. The city
clerk of said city is hereby instructed to cause said deed, together with a certified
copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of th~ County
of San Marco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adonted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 8th day of
Seotember, 1953, by the f~llowing vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith
