HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1929-1953RESOLUTION NO. 1929 A RESOLNTION OF THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRA~..!CISCO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1910, ADOPTED BY SAID CITY COUNCIL ON THE 6TH DAY OF JULY, 1953. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco'did adohr Resolution No. 1910 On July 6, 1953, designating Emmons McClung, City Manager, as authorized agent to submit an application to the Director of Finance of the State of California requesting an allotment under ~e provisisons of Chapter g7, California Statutes of 19&&; and WHEREAS paragraph & of said resolutiSn requested an allotment as the Sta~e of California's share of the cost of preparing plans and specifications for a "Police Headquarters"; and WHEREAS paraEraoh & should have described the project as "Police Headquarters Building", NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that paragraph & of said Resolution No. 1910 be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows: "NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that Local Agency submit the aforesaid supplemental application to the Director of Finance and/or the State Allocation Board, as the case may be, requesting allotment of Four'Hundred Fifty-fomr Dollars and 28/100 ($&S&.28) in addition to the One Thousand One Hundred Fifty-three Dollars and O6/100 ($1,153.06) previously allotted~ being not more than one-half of the cost of preparing said complete plans, or for.such amount as may be approved by the Director of Finance and/or State Allocation Board, (said allotment to be used for the ourpose of defraying'the cost 'of preparing said complete plans) for a specific project ot be undertaken by Local Agency and described as "'Police Headquarters Building." I hereby certify that the foregoing re so l~t ion was duly and regularly introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held on the 8th day of September, 1953, by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Kdolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None Attest: Arthur. Rodondi Cler/Secretary of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, State of California, do hereby certify the foregoing to be a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by the said City Council of the City of South San Francisco, at a meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1953, as the same aopears of record in my office.
