HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1943-1953RESOLUTION NO. 1943 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE STONESON DEVELOP~ENT CORPORATION, A PRIVATE CORPORATION, RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN THAT CERTAIN SUBDIVISION KNO~ AS AVALON PARK NO. 2. WHEREAS The Stoneson Development Corporation as developer of that certain subdivision situate in the City of South San Francisco and designated as "Avalon Park No. 2" is desirous of entering into an agreement with the City of South San Francisco relative to the construction of public improvements in said sub- division, which agremment is required by the terms of the subdivision ordinance or said city; and WHEREAS C. E. Randlett, Works Engineer of said city, has submitted an esti- mate of the cost of the construction of ~he necessarv oublic improvements in said subdivision, which estimate is in the sum of SIXTY,~GHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($68,000.00), NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~iESOLVED that said City Council does hereby declare its willingness to enter into such agreement on behalf of said city relative to the construction of such improvements in said subdivision, said agreement to specify the sum of money estimated by the Works Engineer as above specified with respect to the cost of the construction of the necessary oublic improvements in said sub- division. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of said city and the City Clerk is instructed to affix thereto the corporate seal of said city. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of SouthSan Francisco this 19th day of October, 1953, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith. Noes, Councilmen None. Absent, Councilmen None. Attest: Arthur A. Rodondi City Clerk
