NUE BET~EEN AIRPORT BOULEVARD A~D LI~DEN AVENUE
IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS t~e City Council of the City of South San Rraneisco did,
in o~en session, on the 5th day of November, 1953, publicly open, examine,
and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing work and improvements, and
for the furnishing of all materials, llbor, and equipment necessary for the
doing of said work and improvement, in said city;
NOW, T}~EREFORE, IT IS }H~REBY RESOLVED that said city council hereby re-
jects all of said proposals o~ bids except that herein mentioned and hereby
awards the contract for doing said work and making said improvement and for
the furnishing of all materials, labor, ~nd equipment necessary for the doing
of said work or improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit:
COAST PIPELINE CONTRACTORS, at the Drices named in their bid on file in the
office of the city clerk.
Upon the fil{ng of proper bonds by said successful bider with the city
clerk of said city, the mayor is hereb'~ authorized to execute the contract
for doing said work andim~rovement, and said city clerk is hereby directed
to affix thereto the official seal of said city.
I hereby certify that t}~e foregoingresolution was reKularly i~troduced
and adopted at an adjourned reg~lar meeting of the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco held on the ~SBh day of November, 1953, by the follow-
ing vote, to-wit:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph S~ni, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco,
Telford Smith.
Noes, Councilmen None.
Absent, Councilmen None.
