RESOLUTION NO. 1957
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CORRECTING AN ERROR
IN THE UNSECURED PROPERTY ASSESSMENT TAX ROLL
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1953-1954.
WHEREAS, through an oversight,~the unsecured personal property owned
by Superior Electrocast Foundry, East Grand Avenu$, City of South San Fran-
cisco, a tax payer of said city, was assessed at $25,965.00 and the tax was
calculated, on the basis of said assessment, as being in the amount of $438.
81; and
WHEREAS the unsecured personal property of said taxpayer should have
been assessed in the amount of $55,655.00 and, upon. such basis, the total tax
should have been $940.57,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Said City of
South San Francisco, that said error in assessment be corrected~so that the to~al
assessment of unsecured property owned by said taxpayer at said location shall
be $55,655.00 and the total tax due to said City of South San Francisco with
respect to said property shall be $940.57.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk, in his capacity as ex-officio
assessor of said City of South San Francisco correct the ~ssessment roll so as
to show the correction as ordered in the paragraph next above.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution ms regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 21st
day of December, 1953, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco,
Telford Smith.
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
