RESOLUTION NO. 197~
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ~DOPTING BUDGET AND APPROV-
ING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR
CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS a proposed first supplemental memorandum of agreement
has been presented to the City'Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco to be entered into between said city, on the one hand, and the
State of California, on the other, in accordance with a project state-
ment submitted by said City of South San Francisco for expenditure of
the gas tax allocatien to cities for the fiscal year 195&; and
WHEREAS said city council has heard read said agreement in full
and is familiar with the contents thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said city council that said
project statement be, and it hereby~is, adopted as said city's budget
of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation to cities .for the
aforesaid fiscal year, that said proposed agreement be~':~and the same
hereby is, approved. The mayor.is hereby authorized to 'execute said
agreement on behalf of said city, and the city clerk is hereby directed
to sign and attest to the same, said agreement to be binding upon said
city upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State of
California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 15th
day of February, 1955, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracce,
Telford Smith
Noes, Councilmen None.
Absent, Councilmen None.
