A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISO0 AWARDING THE CONTRACT
TO PERFORM THE WORK DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION
OF INTENTION NO. 1966.
WHEREAS the City. Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open
session, on the 15th day of February, 1956, publicly open, examine, and declare
all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and improvement, and for the
furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the doing of
said city, described in Resolution of Intention No. 1966 of the city council
of said city, adopted on the llth day of January, 195~, which resolution of
intention is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and
improvement and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said
resolution of intention;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that said city council hereby re-
jects all of said proposals or bids except that herein mentioned and hereby
awards the contract for doing said work and making said improvement and for
the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the do-
ing ef said work or improvement to,he lowest responsible bidder, to-wit:
Bragato Paving Co. at the prices named in its bid on file in the office of the
city clerk.
The city clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said reward twice
in the SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENTERPRISE-JOURNAL, a weekly newspaper published and
circulated in said city and hereby designated for that purpose by said city
council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adonted at a~regular mooning of the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco held on the 1st day of March, 195~, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen Adolnh Sani, Joseph Bracco,.Emilio Cortesi
NOES, Councilmen John Noonan, Telford Smith
ABSENT, Councilmen None
