RESOLUTION NO. 1978
RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE ASSESSMENT TO
BE MADE AND SIGNED BY THE DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did on the
llth day of January, 195&, pass a resolution ordering certain work and im-
provements to be made in pursuance of proceedings taken under the "Improvement
Act of 1911" and which are described in-Resolution of Intention No. 1966,
passed on the llth day of January, 1954, reference to which resolution is here-
by expressly made for further particulars; and
WHEREAS said city council desires that the assessment hereafter to be
made in the' proceedings shall be made and signed by the Director of Public
Works instead of by the Superintendent of Streets of said city,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of SoUth
San Francisco that the assessment hereafter to be made, covering the costs
and expenses of said work to be done and improvement to be made, as described
in said Resolution of Intention No. 1966 shall be made and signed by the
Director of Public Works instead of by the Superintendent of Streets of said
city.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 1st day of March, 195&, by the following vote,
to-wit:
AYES, Councilmen Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith
NOES, Councilmen John Noonan
ABSENT, Councilmen None
