HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1988-1954RESOLUTION NO. 1988 A RESOLUTION DF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTtt SAN FRA~[CISCO APPROVING PRE- LIMINARILY THE ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROCEEDING CONSISTING OF THE INSTALLATION OF SEWER FACILITIES IN THE INDUSTRIAL AREA LYING EAST OF BAY- SHORE FREEWAY IN THE CITY OF. SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Fr~nc_isco, California that: WHEREAS, on the 15th day of March, 1958, said City Council did adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 1987 to construct industrial sewerage facilities in the industrail area lying east of Bayshore Freeway in said City, and did refer th~ prooosed improvements to C. E. RANDLETT, he being the engineer having charge and control of the construction of oublic improvements in and for said City of the kind described therein, and being a competent person employed by said City for that ~urpose, an~ did therein direct said C. E. RANDLETT to make and file with the City Clerk of the said City a reoort in writing, all as therein more particularly described, under anU pursuant to the Municipal Improvement Act of ~1.9~, as amended. WHEREAS said C. E. RANDLETT has made and filed with the City Clerk of said City a re~ort in writing as called for in said Resolution of Intention, and un, er and pur- suant to said Act~ .which report has been ~resented to this Council for consideration, WHEREAS said City Council has duly considered said report and each every part thereof, and finds that each and every part of said report is sufficient, and ~hat said reoort, nor any part thereof, requires or should be modified in any respect; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That the olans and specifications for the proposed improvements to be made contained in said renort be, and they are hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed. 2. That C. E. RANDLETT'S estimate of the itemized and total estimated costs and exoenses of said improvements and of the incidental exoenses in connection ~herewith contained in said renort be, and each of them are hereby, preliminarily aporoved and confirmed. 3. That the diagram showing the assessment district referred to and described in said Resolution of Intention, and also the boundaries and dimensions of the res- pective subdivisions of land within said district as the same existed at the timeof the passage of said Resolution of Intention, each of which subdivisions havi~g been ~iven a separate number unon said diagram as contained in said reDort be, and it is here- by preliminarily approved and confirmed. g. That the orooosed improvements uoon the several subdivisions of land in said assessment district in proportion to the estimated benefits to be received by such subdivisions, respectively, from said acquisitions and improvements, and, of the incidental expenses thereto contained in said report be, and they are hereby, ~re- liminarily approved and confirmed; 5. That said re~ort shall stand as the Engineer's report for the purpose of all subsequent oroceedings had Dursuant to said Resolution of Intention. I hereby certify that the foregoing resdlution was regularly introduced and adooted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a meeting held this 15th day of March, 195~, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None Attest: Arthur A.
