RESOLUTION OF TtlE CITY COUNCIL OF T}~E CITY OF
SOUTtt SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE SELECTION OF
NORTtt SAN I'LITEO COUNTY PARK ~ITE.
WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors ;~nd the County Recreation Commission of
the County of San I..[ateo have recently inspected a pro~>osed site located in the
City of San Bruno on the south side of Sneath Lane between Junipero Serra and
Skyline Boulevards; and
WHEREAS said site has great natural beauty and is within a reasonable distance
of each of the cities and towns in North San Marco County and can be developed with
a minimum of expense to preserve it in its natural state; ahd
WHEREAS said site CO~prises a suitable area for potential development into fine
playgrounds, baseball fields, football fields, picnic sites, and other recreational
activities; and
WHEREAS the selection of said site for said purpose peers with the unanimous ap-
proval of this City Council,
~OW~ ~HE~)~E,, ~{E-:~ }~]R~BY ~RESO'~VE~ that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco favors the selection of said aforesaid site and pledges its wholehearted
suvoort to the San Marco County Board of Supervisors and to the San ~$~teo County Recreation
Commission in providing for said recreational area.

BE IT FURTItER RESOLVED that a copy hereof be forwarded to the San Marco
County Bosrd of Sunervisbrs and the San Mateo County Recreation Commission.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution ~s duly and regularly passed
and adooted by the City Council of the'City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 5th day of April, !954 by the following vote:
Ayes, Co~ncilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith.
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
