HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2003-1954RESOLUTION NO. 2003 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXEC- UTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE STONESON DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, A PRIVATE CORPORATION, RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF · PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN THAT CERTAIN SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS "AVALON PARK SUBDIVISION NO. 3" WHEREAS THE STONESON DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION as developer of that certain subdivision situate in the City of South San Francisco and designated as "Avalon Park Subdivision No. 3" is desirous of entering into an agreement with the City of South San Francisco relatiVe to the construction of public improvements in said subdivision, which agreement is required by the terms of the subdivision or- dinance of said city; and WHEREAS LOUIS H. GOSS, Director of Public Works of said city, has submitted an estimate of the cost of the construction of the necessary public improvements in said subdivision, which estimate is in the sum of NINETY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($90,0OO. OO), NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said City Council does hereby declare its willingness to enter into such agreement on behalf of said city relative to the construction of such improvements in said Subdivision, said agreement to specify the sum of money estimated by the Director of Public Works as above specified with respect to the cost of the construction of the necessary public improvements in said subdivision. The Mayor is heresy authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of said city, and the City Clerk is instructed to affix thereto the corporate seal of said city. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intorduced and adopted by the City Council of the City 'of South San Francisco at a regularly ad- journed meeting held this 21st day of April, 195&, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Francis Lucchio, Telford Smith, Emilio Cortesi, GeorEe Bosworth.
