A RESOLUTION OF T~fE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTtt SAN FRANCISCO DESIGNATING
THE OFFICE OF VICE-MAYO}{ AND SPECIFYING THAT
THE HOLDER OF SAID OFFICE SHALL SERVE AS
MAYOR PRO TEI,,iPORE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
it shall be the policy o~ said City Council hereafter to designate, at its
second regular meeting in the month of April of each year, one of its members
to serve as ~yor Pro Tempore whenever the Mayor shall be absent or, for some
other reason, shall be unable to attend to his official duties. The holder
of the office of Mayor Pro Tempore shall have and bear the title of "Vice-Mayor".
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 3rd day of ~y, 195~, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Francis Lucchio, Telford Smith, Emilio Cortesi,
George Bosworth
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
