RESOLUTION NO. 2018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCOREQUESTING THAT THE PLAN-
NING COMMISSION OF SAID CITY PREPARE A NEW ZON-
ING OR DISTRICTING PLAN FOR SAID CITY.
~EREAS the zoning or districting plan of the City of South San Francisco,
Ordinance No. 269, as amended, passed and adopted by the City Council of said
City on the 8th day of July, 1947, has been deemed obsolete and inadequate due
to the rapid growth and development of said City, and
WHEREAS the City Council of said City desires that a current and adequate'
zoning or districting plan be prepared by the Planning Commission of said City,
NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco,'that, pursuant to Section 65600 of the Government Code of the State of
California, the matter of preparing a new and revised zoning ordinance be referred
for consideration and recommendation to the Planning Commission of said City, and
the Planning Commission is hereby instructed to report back to said City Council its
recommendations within a reasonable time hereafter.
The City Clerk of said City is hereby instructed to prepare and deliver a cert-
ified copy of this resolution to the Planning Commission.
I hereby certify that the foregoihg resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meet-
ing held on the 7th day of June, 1954 by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Francis Lucchio,
Bosworth.
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
Telford Smith, Emilio Cortesi, George
