A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO MAKE CERTAIN CHANGES
AND MODIFICATIONS IN THE PLANS FOR THE INDUSTRIAL SEWERS
AND PUMPING STATIONS.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the public
interest, convenience, and necessity require, and that it is the intention of this City
Council to make the following changes and modifications in the proceedings had pursuant
to Resolution of Intention No. 1987, adopted on the 15th day of March 195~, by this Council,
to wit:
1. That the Resolution of Intention and the plans and specifications therefor be
changed and modified to provide for (a) the raising of elevation of sewer lines between
manhole No. 25 and manhole No. ~5, varying from 0 feet to 2.3 feet and between pump
station No. 3 and manhole No. 59, varying from 0 feet to 2.5 feet and between manhole
No. 39 and pump station No. & ~varying from 0.9 feet to 1.2 feet; (b) the raising of
floor elevation 1.25 feet at Dump station No. 3; (c) the raising of floe elevation
2.5 feet at Dump station No. 4; (d) the changing of specifications for concrete pipe
from double rubber gasket to single rubber gasket; and (e) the eliminating of require-
ment for painting with Inertol the 21-inch concrete floor space.
2. That the estimate of cost be changed and modified to show a reduction in an
estimated amount of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY DOLLARS ($ 17,530.O0).
3. That the Engineer shall make said changes and modifications on the face of the
plans, specifications, '~nd estimate of cost, or by filing an amendment thereto.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Tuesday, the 6th day of July, 195~, at the hour of 8:00
o'clock P.M. in the regular meeting place of said City Council, City Hall, South San Fran-
cisco, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said City Council
will consider the matter of making said changes and modifications and hearing all protests
and persons interested therein.
The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be published once in the
Enterprise-Journal, the newspaper in which the Notice of Improvement under said Resolution
of Intention ~as published, said publication to be at least ten (10) days before
said day of hearing.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regularly adjourned meeting
held on the l~th day of June, 195~.
